it's finally friday!

I keep getting tagged for these things!
Not because you have to, but because you WANT to! Things you enjoy, even when no one is around. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal...and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs...
1. Reading. Oh, I love books. I love reading all diffrent things from biographies to fantasy to chick lit to whatever you put in front of my face. I've always been the "bookworm" who preferred reading.
2. Writing. I always joke that I write because I don't know what else I could do with my life - I'm not good at much else. But I've always enjoyed it too. It's fun to be able to create worlds and get to know characters. Sure, it can drive me crazy at points, but overall, I keep going back to it because I love it.
3. Movies. I love watching movies in the theater and at home. I just enjoy it, especially when it has hot boys to ogle.
4. Dancing. I started dancing when I was 3 or 4 years old and I still love it to this day. It's exercise without feeling like exercise.
5. Tai Chi. I started out doing it because it was recommended by my doctor, but I've come to love it. It's very calming and soothing...and I can definitely feel a difference in my energy when I go a few days without doing it.
I'm not going to tag anyone because well, just do it if you want to!

Working on my WIP so that Team A can win and stuff. Because who doesn't want Team A to win? I mean, really, we totally rock. I know where I need to get to with this story (A New Journey) and hopefully my characters will be conducive to me accomplishing that.
Aside from that, I'm reading fun summer books. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to reread all the Harry Potter books before the new one comes out or just Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. I'm thinking about my remaining ficathon pieces that are due in July - though I haven't started writing any of them. And I'm attempting to get caught up on all my beta work so that
sdlucly doesn't have me killed.

Anyone out there going to the Serenity screening in Philadelphia? Let me know!
Otherwise, I bid you all adieu for the day while I attempt to further progress on my WIP 'o doom!

Date: 2005-06-10 04:52 pm (UTC)*Sigh* I'm like you with writing. I've tried other jobs, and I'm really not much good at them. Now if I could just find a job where I can write for a living...
As for my summer reading list, I have my usual supernatural romances. But I also have The Chronicles of Narnia. Very good so far. :)
