**It came to my notice that I made this private.  I apologize.  I've been losing my mind lately.   If you've started something already, go with your muse and don't worry.  Sorry for locking it!

Dear creator,

Thank you for taking on this endeavor.  I'm sure soon I'll be panicking about my own ability to write, so please know that I will love anything from any of the fandoms and characters that I love.

Things I love:   I love fluff and schmoop.  Sucker for happy endings.  I'm a huge fan of hurt/comfort and I even like angst, but I prefer it to at least end hopefully and definitely prefer happy.  I love competency, friends to more, being equals.  I love familial relationships, but also families we create ourselves.  I'm a huge fan of banter and all that can be said with nuance in those moments.  I'm always a fan of cliches like stranded, forced together, amnesia...as long as it's done well and you have fun with it.  I love genderbending as far as taking a cool male character and making him an even more awesome female character.   I do love me some jealousy/possessiveness as long as it doesn't cross over into a creepy stalker type feeling.

No, thank you:  I can't read non-con/rape.  I also can't handle violence against animals or children.  I'm not a fan of death fic or unhappy/no-hope endings.  I don't particularly enjoy incompetence or humiliation for no reason...if it serves a purpose in the story and it makes sense, I can handle it.

My feelings on AUs
 – I enjoy a great genderbend. I do enjoy crossovers that make sense and don't turn all the characters OOC. I like some of the other AUs out there (Soulmates - totally on board;  space operas if it's a show not in space?  not so much), but it's not my go-to for stories if I'm searching for things to read.  With MCU, I really do enjoy the modern setting and various non-power AUs for Steve Rogers...so if that's your thing, I'll get behind it.

Below are the specific requests.  Again, take as much or little from these as you want.  I get how the muse can work (or sometimes not work).   Again, go where the muse takes you.  Note:  On a lot of these I didn't choose angst as a tag, however, I'm okay with angst as long as it doesn't end dark.

requests:

1.  POD SAVE AMERICA RPF - Established Relationship, hurt/comfort, fluff

I adore this podcast and all of the boys.  And I blame my friend for pointing me to the RPF and now I am hooked.  I really love Jon Lovett and all his idiosyncrasies.  I love pining and miscrossed signals and snark.  With Tommy/Jon, I love that Tommy and Jon can come at things from very different places and personalities, but really work well together.  And Jon/Jon...I just always picture Lovett always trying to make Favs laugh and being so happy when he does.

Hurt/Comfort - Lovett gets hurt and the others have to take care of him.  Does he get quiet and freak people out?  Is he super demanding, trying the patience of Job?

Feel free to throw in random tropes or go with those crazy soap opera ideas (Lovett gets amnesia and blocks out Trump's presidency, but in doing so forgets he has a media company and a boyfriend).

Really, anything for these guys...

2.  MCU - Hurt/Comfort, Established Relationship, Slice of Life, Fluff, Canon Divergence

So, it's probably pretty obvious that I adore Steve Rogers.  I love him and enjoy him with various pairings...

For Bucky/Steve - I love the hurt/comfort, with Bucky taking care of Steve.  it can be small!Steve or Cap!Steve or AU!modern Steve.  I always enjoy the stories where Bucky stopped being the WInter Soldier before Steve was found.   And I love fics where they just enjoy their days...Fluff is my favorite thing for them.  There is always so much angst - and I'm cool with some angst as long as there is fluff too - and I just like to see them happy.

For Steve/Thor - I just love that they're both sort of strangers in this current world and could see them bonding over things like that.   What would Steve and Thor's reunion be like after Ragnarok?
Or random future fluff of them taking a day.  Steve wanting Thor and Bucky to get along.

For Steve/Sam - I just love their friendship.  I love that Sam is protective of Steve and completely trusts him, but will still call him on things.  And I love that Steve lets Sam in.  I love Steve feeling jealous and Sam having to point out he's an idiot.

For Steve/Tony - I love a domestic side to them.  I like them being equal partners, but still bickering.  I love Steve being protective of Tony and their relationship.  And I really do enjoy hurt!Steve where Tony is the one who goes into protective mode.

3.  Crossovers - Established Relationship, Getting Together, Hurt/Comfort, Fluff, Character Development

Steve/Matt - The Guilty Catholics meet and bond.  Or are already together.  Can be future fic from where DareDevil or Defenders or Civil War left off - or could be set before any of that...I'm up for anything.  I find them intriguing and pretty.  I really like the idea of Steve being drawn to Matt *before* he knows that he is DareDevil and them dealing with that discovery.  But seriously, anything...Steve taking care of Matt.  Or Matt yelling that STeve is impulsive and reckless, garnering snickers from Foggy.

Steve Rogers/Diana Prince - so much potential.  I would heart anything.  Especially if it involves Diana being the one to repeatedly save Steve.

Kara Danvers/Barry Allen - They have such chemistry and I really love their interactions.  I'm up for anything with them.  I'd love Kara taking care of Barry and being protective of him...the way they can bond over the pressure to help people and have a life.

Jacob Jensen/Ronan Dex - this could just be hot and pretty and hot.  Like after Losers, Jensen ends up involved in the Stargate Program and fun ensues.  Or Ronan comes to Earth to visit and meets Jake and fun ensues that way!  Seriously, I just imagine the pretty.

4.  DC Extended Universe - Established Relationship, Hurt/Comfort, Fluff, Canon Divergence Fix-It

Diana/Steve Trevor - I love Diana and Steve.  I love the relationship that they build.  I would love fix-it where Steve doesn't die, or doesn't stay dead.  I love the idea of him appearing in the future after Justice League and learning so much about how Diana has changed and the friends she has and the world she lives in.  Also, him not-so-subtly wondering if she was married or dating.   I'd also love some fic where Steve takes care of Diana - like she needs to stop pushing herself so much...or she misses home or anything.

Barry Allen/Arthur Curry - They're just so different personality wise that I can't help but think of the fun.  I picture Arthur being super-protective of Barry (even while being gruff and annoyed - but only he's allowed to be that way with him) and Barry always getting into trouble.  I just love the idea of Barry trying to explain to his Dad on a visit that he's dating this friend who's not really from around here and...hurt/comfort, established fluff would be great.  Feel free to add as many or few of the other Justice League as you want!

5.  Thunderbirds

Hurt/comfort, slice of life, interpersonal drama, character development

I love the Tracy brothers.  I love the movie and the new Thunderbirds Are Go show and I've seen the old school show, so feel free to use whichever canon works best for you.  Mostly I just want the brothers interacting and supporting/teasing each other.

Alan is my favorite as the youngest trying to find his own way.  Feel free to set it after the movie with Alan trying to step into his new role and his brothers trying to stop being protective.

Alan!whump is fine with the brothers getting worried and threatening to kill people hurting their baby brother.

For Gordon and Alan - getting into hijinks.

Feel free to add other characters, including Jeff, as long as the focus is more on the brotherly relationships.

6.  The Accountant - Canon Divergence, established relationship, hurt/comfort, fluff, character development

Christian Wolff/Braxton - I can't really explain what it was about them that made me ship it, but I do.  I love the idea of Braxton searching for his brother, only to finally find him and then not wanting to let him leave.  I love that they were raised to be a team and that Christian disappeared on Braxton - how do they move forward?  Do they fall into old patterns?  Are they still super protective of each other?  What do they do in their downtime of kicking lots of ass?

7.  Star Trek Alternate Original Series Movies -
Established Relationship, Slice of Life, hurt/comfort, fluff

Kirk/McCoy - I love them.  I especially love McCoy being frustrated and annoyed by Kirk's constant ability to attract trouble and having to patch him up.  But at the same time, I'm intrigued by how Kirk would react if it was McCoy that was the one that got into a mess and got hurt.  What do they do in their downtime?  It can be set during/after any of the movies.

Kirk/Spock - They're just so different and yet similar in ways that I enjoy them.  I always imagine even in the most day-to-day things that Kirk will try to get Spock excited, and he just looks at Kirk like he's crazy and humors him.  Sometimes.  Other times he feels the need to point out that watching a movie that you've seen before is an unnecessary use of time.

8.  Teen Wolf - Fluff, hurt/comfort, established relationship

Stiles/Derek - I love protective Derek.  I love Stiles getting into trouble, but I also love him still being competent.  I like that play of Derek needing to protect and help Stiles, but also trusting that Stiles can take care of himself (even if he is a magnet for trouble).  They make a good team and I really enjoy all different aspects of their relationship.  It can be during the show or future or whatever - though I am intrigued by a Derek point of view during the whole Nogitsune storyline where he and Stiles were together.

Anyway...

Sorry this was so long.  I never know how much to share, so feel free to use as much or as little of this as you want.  My only real no-please-no are the ones listed above.  Everything else...go where your muse takes you.  I love these fandoms and characters, so I'm sure whatever comes about will be wonderful.

Thank you again and I hope you enjoy writing it!

Life has been super busy recently and work's been charging along as well. Which is good, I guess, because I do enjoy job stability, but a few minutes of rest is always something I enjoy. I've just had a lot of HR-related seminars and workshops recently, so then I'm out of the office and when I'm back in, I've got to play catch up.

I had a few things I wanted to post about, but now that I'm writing the entry, I've got nothing much to report.

A Story Rec:

For Fandom Trumps Hate, I did some bidding with the plan to make donations no matter what, but I won a few things.

And I got this amazing story set in the Cal Leandros world - Brothers Before Souls  by [archiveofourown.org profile] yopumpkinhead  - It's set during Blackout, but it's from Niko's perspective on dealing with Cal going missing, to finding him, and to making the choices that he does for his brother.  I loved everything about this story and I highly recommend it.  One can never go wrong with Niko POV.  If you know the books, I definitely recommend you check it out.

So author reveals occurred for [community profile] chocolateboxcomm and I meant to share the story I wrote, but again...time gets away from me.

I wrote The In Between Moments - Walking Dead, Rick/Daryl - it's set over the course of seasons four to winter finale of current season (7) - Somehow Daryl and Rick have managed to carve something out for themselves despite the constant loss and destruction around them. At least they always find their ways back to each other. A series of moments (missing scenes) between Daryl and Rick set from the end of season four through to the winter finale of season seven.

After the initial panic I always experience before starting a project for a challenge, I had a lot of fun with this one.  It took me some time to figure out what I wanted to write and how I wanted to bring canon into it.  And I had one scene written, but I was feeling like I wanted to do more...so it slowly expanded and I'm happy with the final product.  Gotta thank my betas for keeping me on target and pointing out when things that are in my head didn't translate onto the page.  And, it was nice to sort of give Daryl and Rick a few happy moments.

I made up my deficit from January on my word count and pulled ahead during February.  A lot of it was nonfannish writing and a few WIPs I've been tossing around in my brain (I long ago stopped posting WIPs because when/if I lose interest, I didn't want people wondering how something ends)

Currently on my fannish writing to-do list:

-my piece for [livejournal.com profile] picfor1000 - I've got this cool picture.  Now the challenge is to keep my wordy butt limited to exactly 1000 words.
-Ante-Up Losers story - I love any excuse to rewatch/read Losers.
-Just got my fandom5K assignment the other day and I'm super excited.  And this one I need to come up with something good and something that will lead to at least 5000 words of a story.

I've also got to continue with my regular writing.

Not much else to report.  I joined Planet Fitness by my house because it was 10.00 a month and I figured it would help me break up my routine.  Though I do most of my working out at home or my Saturday bootcamp class...I do a lot of Jillian Michaels with her dvds or app.  But thought, this might be good for me.  Change it up.  I met with the trainer to set up a personal fitness plan...

This woman was crazy.  Like I just wasted an hour of my time.  First, she told me that I should have a heart rate of 114 when I'm working out to be in the "fat burn zone" like it's still the 80's/early 90's.  And then she just proceeds to give me a sheetful of machines to use and never showed me how to actually use the machines.  And learning the machines is the whole reason I signed up for the personal fitness plan.  It was just insane and has me rethinking this gym.  It's super cheap, but I don't know.  As part of my gastric sleeve surgery I got to use the gym's fitness center for a three month program and work with a trainer.  And maybe I got spoiled because she showed me how to do a move and then made me do it a few times to perfect my form and we moved on.   That's what I need and like.    For  now though, I think I'll just google some of the machines and go from there...or just use the gym for cardio and stick with home for strength training with free weights/body weight.

Alright, I'm off.  I'm going to head to bed and do some reading.  I'm trying to finish up the first book in the Mistborn trilogy.  I'm really enjoying it.  It started a bit slow and it took me a little bit to catch on about the journal entries at the start of each chapter, but I find this world fascinating.  Even if the book is 600 pages long.

Dear Creator,

Again I apologize for the delay in getting this posted.  Time has this nasty habit of getting away from me.  Please feel free to use as much or as little of this as you want.  I'll love stories of any of these pairings/characters.  And I know some people like prompts/ideas and others can find it restrictive - so whatever works.

Request 1:  Marvel Cinematic Universe

So I love Steve Rogers. Definitely my favorite character in all of Marvel Universe.   For Steve/Thor - I just love that they're both sort of strangers in this current world and could see them bonding over things like that.  For Steve/Sam - I just love their friendship.  I love that Sam is protective of Steve and completely trusts him, but will still call him on things.  And I love that Steve lets Sam in.  I love Steve feeling jealous and Sam having to point out he's an idiot.  For Steve/Bucky - I didn't pick AU-Modern, but they are the one pairing that I can handle that with...so long as the basics are the same in that they grew up best friends.   For Steve/Tony - I love a domestic side to them.  I like them being equal partners, but still bickering.  For Steve/Bucky/Sam - I really love the idea of Steve being completely clueless, feeling left out but happy that Bucky and Sam are close, and Bucky & Sam needing to knock Steve over with things.  Or just random domesticity and the ways the three of them take care of each other (Just please keep that sort of dynamic of Sam & Bucky we get).

Request 2: Crossover Fandoms

Steve Rogers/Kara Danvers - so yes, did I mention my love of Steve Rogers and that my brain often spends time inserting him into different worlds.  I think he and Kara would be this odd fit, a person Kara doesn't have to worry about being strong around (and same for Steve).  Someone who understands that even when it's tiring, it feels good to help people.   For some reason with Steve & Kara, I picture Steve trying to be very private about his relationship and everyone on the Avengers trying to find out what's going on.  Sam and Bucky demanding to know and plotting...and of course Natasha already figured it out.
Steve Rogers/Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez - so I love Losers almost as much as I love MCU.  And really, with this pairing, I'm open to pretty much anything, including - are Steve and Jake the same person?  Is Jake related to Steve?  I just love the idea of them and I'm open to anything.
Bucky Barnes/Jake Jensen - like above I just find it all fascinating and I know I have this weird obsession of crossing over all of Chris Evans roles at times.  But it just intrigues me and I'm open to anything.
Barry Allen/Oliver Queen - They are my DC TV OTP.  I love Barry and Oliver.  They're so different in a lot of ways, but they both care a lot about their cities and people.  And I think they bring out the best in each other when they work together, so I think that could go so far in another type of relationship.  I'd love hurt/comfort fic, with Oliver being protective and annoyed with Barry - because Barry rushes into everything.  And then Barry pointing out that Oliver can be just as fast to react.
Barry Allen/Kara Danvers - Again, I love the idea of Kara having someone she doesn't have to hold back with.  They can fight villains and unwind together without having to close off parts of themselves or leaving someone behind every

Request 3: The Martian

Mark Watney is awesome and I love Mark/Chris.  I love them as an established relationship that ends up going on this adventure together where everything goes wrong.  I love exploring Chris battling with grieving someone he loves and then the guilt of being the one to making the call to leave him behind (even though only he would be blaming himself).  I love Mark using science and being smart and hating disco and potatoes.   And yeah, I saw the "mystery/procedural" tag and my brain was suddenly like "now there needs to be Mark & Chris solve crimes and make out a lot."

Request 4: The Flash

I love the separate relationships that Barry has with both Cisco and Caitlyn.  I love the idea of them moving from friendship to more.  I love Barry and Cisco working through some of the issues of this season (whether established relationship that hit the rocks or getting together).  I just love that the three of them always come together in the end to save the day and there is a lot of trust and mutual respect built into those relationships.  And they're just fun characters too.

Request 5: The Losers

I love every single thing about Jake Jensen/Cougar Alvarez.  They are one of my favorite pairings that hit on all my favorite things:  best friends, teammates, partners in crime, and just two people that really respect each other's abilities.  I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort and competent!Jake, who kicks ass, but sometimes still needs Cougar to save him.  I love Jake then returning the favor and saving Cougar too.  Feel free to add any of the other team members, Aisha, Jolene, or Jensen's sister & niece as supporting characters.

I do know the comics for this fandom.  I know it sign-up was for the movie and that's fine to stick with, but if you like the comic storylines and want to utilize it - that's fine by me.

Request 6:  Killjoys

I adore this show and I really, truly love Johnny.  I don't really do pairings on this show.  I just love the dynamic and relationships that Johnny shares with D'avin and Dutch.  I love that Johnny is the heart of the trio and he's the only one who doesn't seem to realize it.  I love how far his relationship with D'avin has come since season one and even him stabbing Johnny.  I love how much Dutch depends on Johnny.  And Lucy loves Johnny the most, which is always awesome to me!

Request 7: Supergirl

Kara/Winn - I adore Kara and her relationship with Winn.  And it hits on my fave friends-to-more trope and just...the idea of Kara starting to realize exactly what Winn means to her after a close call.  Winn being leary.  And Kara having to win him over.   I just think her relationship with Winn is one of the things that keeps Kara grounded.  And did I mention Winn is adorable?
Kara & Alex - sisters kicking ass together!  Having each others' backs.  Being overprotective and stupid and sometimes snippy as sisters are known to do, but always being there when they need each other.  I just love Kara & Alex.  Separately they are great characters, but together, they're this amazing team.

I enjoy all the tags I chose and all the pairings.  I'm pretty easy to please and I hope you enjoy writing the story because I know I'll enjoy reading the final product.

So yes.  This is my long-winded way of saying Thank you!
