Title: Losing Your Own Reflection
Author: Tommygirl
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Terminator Salvation
Pairing: Kate/John
Written For: [personal profile] medie for Yuletide 2009
Notes: So I have to thank [personal profile] medie for all the cool ideas in her dear yuletide person letter. It was hard to choose what to write with all the ideas, but I couldn't resist the pull of Kate and Kate's relationship with her husband. I hope it lived up to everything she wanted. And I also have to thank Jen, Lara, and Steph for the amazing beta work on this story. They all brought different perspectives and great advice.

Title: A Life in Moments
Author: Tommygirl/[livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl
Fandom: The Covenant
Written For: [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story for [livejournal.com profile] dragonsinger
Summary: Set before, during, and after the movie, Caleb tries to make sense of things.
Rating: PG
A/N: So first, I have to say that I totally love Amy and when I found out that I had her of all the people, I went out, found myself a copy of this movie and took to writing her prompt. So thank you to Amy for getting me hooked on this movie (and I totally didn't realize that was Warren Peace with short hair!). Second, there was [livejournal.com profile] larah33 for the hand-holding and assurances that I wouldn't suck out loud. Finally, [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy and [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218 for the amazing beta work. Feedback always appreciated.

Hot boys, supernatural storyline, and its from the creators of Underworld...I love it! )

Title: The Defining Moment
Author: Tommygirl/[livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl
Fandom: Underworld, Lucian/Sonja
Written For: [livejournal.com profile] fandom_ficlets for the [livejournal.com profile] hetfic challenge with the request of Lucian/Sonja anything without angst
A/N: Much love to [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218 for the quick beta work despite working in the dark on the fandom. Sorry this is late, but I must admit this was a tough one to write, especially without angst (this is somewhat fluff...okay outright fluff). Hope this fits the bill. Feedback always appreciated.

The Defining Moment – set in the world prior to the movie

Title: Three to Six
Author: Tommygirl/[livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl
Summary: Danny's back in jail and somehow Rusty ends up looking after Tess
Rating: PG-13
Recipient: V/[livejournal.com profile] deepsix, who wanted Rusty, Tess. Four to six months in New Jersey, waiting for Danny, was almost like a prison sentence in itself.
Notes: Much love to [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218 and [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy who dealt with my neuroses, provided wonderful edits, and let me know when something didn't make sense. Feedback is always appreciated!

Title: Moving Forward
Fandom: Day After Tomorrow
Characters: Sam/Laura
Archive: It'll be at yuletide and my website. Ask otherwise.
A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sdlucly for reading it over and helping me out. She rocks! This was written as a pinch-hit for the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide challenge for [livejournal.com profile] paranoidkitten. Feedback always appreciated.

Three weeks after the glacial storm took out most of the Northern Hemisphere, Sam Hall was surprised not only to find himself glistening under the early afternoon sun, but to have a grin plastered on his face. )

So I ended up going to the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide chat last night for the pinch hitting to see if there was anything I could do. Up until the end, I was almost convinced that I was going to walk away without another story.

It figures that the second to last one was in a fandom I could handle...and I didn't want anyone not to have a story. Especially not at the holidays. That's not right.

Luckily, that story seems to be writing itself - I love it when that happens - and it's pretty easy to write. It's from a movie fandom and the great thing about that is there is only limited canon, characterization to live up to...much easier to navigate, at least for me. So wish me luck.

Also, working on [livejournal.com profile] charmedsanta project at the moment. I see that others have started posting! I noticed the wubulous [livejournal.com profile] dragonsinger had me! Squee and excitement. I haven't looked yet because I won't let myself until I finish my gift. But I can't wait.

So must finish mine. And I must ask...anyone out there going to be available for a quick beta? I promise that I don't have any of you on my friendslist so you won't be editing your own gifts.

And I think that pretty much gives away the gift. Though it's not really surprising. I'm graphically-challenged, but I think I write some pretty decent Charmed stuff. So hopefully my recipient will enjoy it.

**

I think I'm finally getting to see the new Blade movie tonight. Woo-hoo. Ryan Reynolds is teh hot! Plus, lame as it sounds, I love those movies. They're campy and funny and action-packed. I love it. Plus, I have that weird obsession with vampires and all things that involve vampires.

My mother refers to it as "part of your weirdness." Maybe she's right. heh.

**

Not much else to report for my day today has consisted of sleeping, shopping with the mother, and writing. Oh, I live a wild life here in miserable, rainy New Jersey, don't I?

Ciao.
