My office is dead today. It's uber quiet and I'm just not used to that. It's weirding me out. However, it's a nice break from yesterday's insanity. We came back from a nice four-day holiday to discover that neither email or the internet were working.

I got a lot of writing done yesterday though. I started my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story, I worked on [livejournal.com profile] sdlucly very belated birthday fic, and I started a Sam and Dean Supernatural story that's been bogging down my brain.

NOw I just have to finish all those things.

And really, I was doing really good for awhile there - not signing up for any ficathons...and then it was [livejournal.com profile] yuletide and then SESA...and then a few others. God, I'm insane. Remind me of this next year please.

**

I've seen a lot more of the wish lists going up and I've been trying to make sure I add them all to my memories. I'd like to do some of the wish list requests, but part of the reason I decided on 12 Fandom Days of Christmas was because I didn't want to leave anyone out. So yeah, I'll see if I have time in my ficathon-addled brain to handle some wish list request.

But just FYI - no pressure!

my wishlist

And [livejournal.com profile] jaxie926 is collecting all the wishlists for a master list.

**

Again, I find myself wondering why there isn't more Ronon/Sheppard fic out there in the Stargate Atlantis fandom. And then I wonder, even more, why I usually tend to like the less popular pairings in things. I mean, I enjoy Sheppard/McKay - I see the appeal. But Ronon and Sheppard would just be HOT! They're both so pretty!

**

Supernatural recs are coming, I swear. I have a list in word and i just have to organize it. Though some of them I'm pretty sure everyone's read, I still feel the need to rec them - because I enjoyed them.

Also need to work on my [livejournal.com profile] rec50 claim a bit more. It's not even a daunting one - I've read plenty of Sports Night fic that I love...so why am I so lazy?

**

Alrighty, off to catch up on the friends list, get my secret santa drabble done, and then maybe do some writing.

And Secret Drabble Santa - you rock so much. ::huggles::

Since most of my articles are in, I might just be able to sneak around and work on my fics today. I did write my SPN fic where John makes his first visit to Missouri. I just need to edit it and have it betaed.

I do look forward to your 12 Fandom Days of Christmas. So much good fic!

SPN recs? *Hopes she's made the list* But I'll understand if I don't. :)

Oooh...I can't wait to read more of your SPN fic (and yes, you made the recs list!)

And yeah, I've been working on one of the Fandom Days' stories, but that's it.

*beams* You're very welcome. I like to rock.

Today's Drabble:

Make Believe- A Supernatural Drabble

“You scare me.”

“Fuzzy little bunnies scare you, Sammy boy.”

Sam ignored his brother’s taunt. “Seriously, Dean, you’ve risen to a new height of lunacy. No normal person would ever think like that.”

“Did I ever say I was normal?” Dean winked at his brother. “I’m special, and I’m perfectly okay with that.”

“Whatever.” Sam rolled his eyes. “Just...do me a favor and shut up for awhile, okay?”

“What?” Dean took a swig of his coffee, still piping hot in the Styrofoam McDonald’s cup. “It’s called shop talk little bro’.”

“It’s called the ramblings of a madman.” Sam muttered.

“Right. You have to admit, that poltergeist activity in the North Pole, centered around one unfortunate reindeer, could have very well been the cause for Ruldoph’s red nose. No wonder he was alienated from the rest of the deer in the herd. And demonic possession of a snowman had to be the cause behind Frosty’s sudden antics.”

“Dean, those stories aren’t real. They’re make believe. Everyone over the age of eight knows they’re just made up.”

“Such a Scully, aren’t you, Sammy?”

“Shut up.” Sam leaned back against the leather of the car seat and closed his eyes, only to open them a moment later. He turned towards his brother. “You’re telling me that you really believe in Santa Claus?”

“I believe in keeping my options open. Think of all the supernatural things we’ve fought. How many people think those things are just make believe?” Dean paused slightly. “And besides, I just love to mess with your mind.” He chuckled and put his foot on the gas, causing the car to lurch out of the McDonald’s parking lot and onto the road.

Dear Secret Santa,

Will you marry me? Er...I loved it! God, my love of the boys and banter! I will continue to say this, "Thank you, you rock!"

Love,

Tommygirl

Dude, you remembered my belated bday story!!! I've still been plotting about yours, both of them, and my god, it's taking me half my soul to write it, I'm telling you. *nods*

I have four pages of your bday story written, but it's nowhere near done. And this week has been hell with finals and work and illness.

(Oh, I also have the last of the three chapters of Yelling you had sent me to get back to you - it's half-finished as well...most things are at the moment. half-finished. heh)
