So everyone should go read Steph's [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy new Harry Potter story, Density, 'cause it's Harry and Draco and she's cool (even if she does love Patrick Swayze a little too much--and don't get me started about the Dick Cheney love puppets she keeps under her pillow). I will warn that her Draco and the story is barely reminiscient of canon, so if that will annoy you beyond belief--avoid. Otherwise, have a good read.

Speaking of Steph, I was reminded yesterday that I owe her the next part of this story that she and I are working on together. It started out as a Lance Bass story--we decided to write about the thing that bonded us long ago, a love for the underappreciated bass of Nsync (before he became the uber bitch that he is now, of course)--but this story has become much more about all our other fandom loves (SARK!) than Lance. He's getting annoyed with me while I'm writing.

Must overcome and finish the damn part so that Steph can take over for a bit. This is really why she and I tend not to collaborate on things--we're both uber procrastinators that get caught up in other things. We always have these brilliant ideas, but can't seem to bring ourselves to work on them (Shallow Critics Guide???)

It also doesn't help that we don't talk as much as we used to - though I do get the random text message of draco/harry porn on my cell. Really need to try to email both Steph and Hedda much more because I miss my cyber daughter and my evil weeble. ::sniffles::

Was reading through the stuff at [livejournal.com profile] transienttimes and I decided that I need to write some Orli. I haven't written Orli in awhile and I miss writing for him.

But that damn Chris muse. He won't go away. He keeps whispering in my ear, "You know you love me. Write me, bitch. Write me."

So I'm off to talk to the voices in my head and maybe try to write something, even finish my own piece for the Mulitfandom Soap Opera Challenge which has turned into the story that never ends.

So it's back...just different format.

My Responses to the Fannish Five Question of the Week

The Question: What five episodes (issues, aspects) would you use to pimp your fandom and why?

So many fandoms and so little time…

Joan of Arcadia

1. The Pilot – because that’s what pulled me in. Hot God, fun intermixed with drama, snarkiness, and Kevin and Joan brother/sister bonding moments.

2. The Fire and The Wood – the introduction to Grace and Adam when God tells Joan to take AP Chemistry.

3. Bringeth It On – Joan as a cheerleader. Fun ensues.

4. Jump – because the kiss. It has the Joan/Adam kiss and Joan and Adam make up after their fighting.

5. The Gift – I loved this episode. Joan and Adam debating whether or not to have sex…because God tells Joan to give Adam a gift. Heh-heh.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

1. Welcome to the Hellmouth/The Harvest – the pilot. So much fun. So dark, so snarky, so perfect. And lots of Xander. It’s not necessary to understanding the rest of the show, but I always recommend starting with this episode.

2. The Witch – Buffy tries out for cheerleading. I just love the whole “macho, macho man” bit and of course the “you’re my Xander-shaped friend.”

3. Becoming Parts I & II – I’m counting this as one. I don’t care! This is my favorite all-time episode. It doesn’t get better than the season two finale. Gah. Heart wrenching.

4. The Zeppo – It’s Xander-filled. And this is an episode that pokes fun at itself and all the darkness and apocalypses that hang over their heads. Have I mentioned it's all about Xander?

5. Buffy Vs. Dracula – “Holy Master…bater.” Need I say more?

FYI...

I know this only applies to a handful of y'all, but this message will also reach Steph here, so what can I do?

Anyway,

I used to host Steph's (back then she was "Miss Storyteller") story, My Little Mary at the White Room, but now that I have my own domain and a lot more room, I offered her a chance to have a site again without pop-ups and she decided to take me up on it. So, My Little Mary (the best Chris Kirkpatrick angst story EVER...despite the use of words like "Saw his essence" Heh-heh) is up here now.

Hopefully this will stop the emails I'm getting about the story being reposted. Not much is up over there yet, but that story is.

In other news...not much writing done.

Well, a short Chris thing I'm reading over now.

Because the Chris muse is evil and hogging up my brain and...he won't even let me write the WIP that he's in. No, he's all "not enough angst, bitch. I want more angst. Look at me! I'm angsty...and pretty...don't forget pretty."

Is it weird that my Chris muse talks to me?
