Title: A New York Minute
Author: Tommygirl
Fandom: Popslash - JC Chasez/Justin Timberlake
Rating: R
A/N: This was written for this year's SESA ([livejournal.com profile] sesa_discuss) for [livejournal.com profile] addictedkitten who wanted current JC & Justin. It's been awhile since I'd written for these boys so it came out a bit sweet & schmoopy at points. Much love to [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy for her ability to point things out while mocking. Oh and before you ask, in case you never read any of my much older Nsync fic of the past, I really *do* think JC is a big girl. That's a given - he's just a pretty girl! Feedback always appreciated.

JC and Justin in New York City. Should go without saying that it's not real, but yeah, it's not... )

Am quite bitter and envious of y'all that got to see Serenity last night. Am grateful though that each of you has used cut-tags for any spoilers. As I am not a fan of the spoilers for most things. I like finding out as I go. please take this to apply to the upcoming harry potter book and those spoilers out there that I've managed to avoid thus far. thanks! Alas, gratitude is not stronger than the green-eyed monster and so...::scowls::

Instead, I got to spend my evening watching repeats of The O.C., reading, and starting a story that I didn't expect.

You see, out of nowhere, I started writing a popslash, trickyfish story. First, aside from Trouble In My Head, I haven't been writing much that involves Nsync in awhile now (and some of those who read that would be quick to point out I don't do much writing on TIMH - sorry). Second, I've never really been a trickyfish girl - my firm belief being that Lance belongs with JC. It goes back to the old school days when Clandestine Desires was posted and now I just can't like them with anyone else.

So why, then, am I writing this story when I have two ficathon pieces due early next week?

Though [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy told me to finish it. She said it wasn't cheesy or bad, so if I end up finishing it and posting it, she's to blame. Remember that.

I get to leave work at 3:30pm today because the boss is being uber kind, per usual, before the holiday. Love the boss on days like this.

Really don't feel like I've accomplished much, which is accurate. For I've spent most of my morning reading fanfic and pondering how to go about my take the house fic. This is my sad process a lot of time - ponder, ponder, write, rip that draft to shreds, ponder, ponder, write. Sometimes it works (like I think it did with the Jack/Sawyer story) and sometimes it doesn't (oh so many stories that I'm not going to count).

Fannish to Do List for my own needs... )

Alright off to wish away the remaining hour of time and write. Really. I'm gonna write. Goodness knows I might not have time this weekend.

So everyone should go read Steph's [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy new Harry Potter story, Density, 'cause it's Harry and Draco and she's cool (even if she does love Patrick Swayze a little too much--and don't get me started about the Dick Cheney love puppets she keeps under her pillow). I will warn that her Draco and the story is barely reminiscient of canon, so if that will annoy you beyond belief--avoid. Otherwise, have a good read.

Speaking of Steph, I was reminded yesterday that I owe her the next part of this story that she and I are working on together. It started out as a Lance Bass story--we decided to write about the thing that bonded us long ago, a love for the underappreciated bass of Nsync (before he became the uber bitch that he is now, of course)--but this story has become much more about all our other fandom loves (SARK!) than Lance. He's getting annoyed with me while I'm writing.

Must overcome and finish the damn part so that Steph can take over for a bit. This is really why she and I tend not to collaborate on things--we're both uber procrastinators that get caught up in other things. We always have these brilliant ideas, but can't seem to bring ourselves to work on them (Shallow Critics Guide???)

It also doesn't help that we don't talk as much as we used to - though I do get the random text message of draco/harry porn on my cell. Really need to try to email both Steph and Hedda much more because I miss my cyber daughter and my evil weeble. ::sniffles::

Was reading through the stuff at [livejournal.com profile] transienttimes and I decided that I need to write some Orli. I haven't written Orli in awhile and I miss writing for him.

But that damn Chris muse. He won't go away. He keeps whispering in my ear, "You know you love me. Write me, bitch. Write me."

So I'm off to talk to the voices in my head and maybe try to write something, even finish my own piece for the Mulitfandom Soap Opera Challenge which has turned into the story that never ends.

Title: A New Friend (possibly the queerest title ever, but I suck at such things)
Fandom: Orlando Bloom/JC Chasez based off a ficlet request
Rating: PG-13 due to inappropriate language and slash mentionings
Summary: Orli’s adventures in a bar one night.
Author's Note: I always turn Orli into this romantic ninny, my Britficness is horrid, and don't expect smut because I can't do it without it sounding like some biology text book.

Time crawled away with the helpless tempo of traffic on an LA freeway. )

Trouble In My Head just doesn't want to come out of my head in any discernible way. So I'm doing a few ficlet/blurb/etc challenges. This was one posted at the JJBoard for the week's challenge.

The Challenge: Write about the beginning of a relationship or the end of a relationship. It can be a friendship, a romance etc. No word minimums or limits. Any fandom, any genre. Posting guidelines.

Title: In the Spring
Rating: PG
Pairing: JC/Original girl
Disclaimer: I don't own JC (boy, I wish), have nothing to do with Jive, WEG, or whoever else, nor am I JC.
Author's Note: Angst-ridden crap, I think, but I made an attempt. It's also un-beta'd at the moment and written in about twenty minutes--so take that into consideration when cringing in horror. Heh. All feedback welcome.

Larissa walks out onto the sidewalk, allowing the wind to rise up around her and sweep her hair across her cheeks, and heads north on Front Street. )

Tonight is the finale of Charmed and the spoilers that I read have horrified me. That is all I will say because I don't want to give anything away for anyone. No Alias again this week, which I find inhumane and wrong, especially since it's for Super Millionaire. Is there anyone out there who actually cares about Regis Philbin's side gigs?
