another week, another thing to do

I am still working on those Election day drabbles. Time has just been a very lacking thing in my life at the moment. It seems no matter how much time I try to partition off for writing purposes, others (family, friends, etc) decide to make plans for me. Oh, life is so much fun sometimes.

It doesn't help that for some reason, unfathomable to me, I volunteered to be The O.C. rec'r over at crack_van for December. I have a few of my own favorites (which I hope haven't been recommended already), but if you have any, hook me up with links!

Okay, I'm off to do some writing, peruse other people's holiday wishlists to see what I can do, and basically avoid any real work at all today.
