So yeah, it's all fannish things because I just feel most comfortable that way and dude, fannish things are sometime the MOST fun.

Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish and it might come true. Give and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My 2006 Holiday Wishlist:

1. Jack Bauer/Sydney Bristow fic (24/Alias) – it can be them working a job together or just them meeting in their regular lives. They are so hot and there are only like TWO fics out there of them.

2. Dean Winchester of Supernatural crossover fics. I’d love it to be Dean/Tru (Tru Calling) or Dean/Vincent Chase (Entourage), but really, as long as I know the other show, I bet I’ll love it and he’s so easy to cross.

3. Remix one of my fics (which can be found in my memories or on my website)

4. Sam/Dean schmoop fic! I love it. It can have angst, but I want a happy ending please!

5. A Supernatural fic where Dean never comes to Stanford, but Jess still dies and Sam has to locate both his father AND Dean. Gen or Wincest is fine.

6. Entourage fic! Write me some entourage fic.

7. I’d love a Sam Winchester in the towel layout and icon that says “Tommygirl”

8. Drabbles in any of my fandoms.

9. If someone would make me a graphic/dust jacket for the Dean Winchester Crossover ‘O Doom that I’m currently writing for Nano, I would love it.

10. Take one day and leave feedback on all the fic that you read. If you watch vids, leave feedback for those too!

Are they any good? If so, I'd love links.

Hee...uh, well, they were written for me so I'm biased, but I enjoyed them. Bliss (http://lucysfairytale.livejournal.com/3555.html) by [livejournal.com profile] spy_barbie and the sequel, Closer (http://lucysfairytale.livejournal.com/3757.html).

This isn't new, but I don't think we were friended when it was posted. Supernatural/Angel crossover. Dean/*coughmuttermumble* Not an original character, just not naming him outright in the headers.

Black-Throated Wind (http://t-fic.livejournal.com/12202.html) ... because when scrambling for titles, the Grateful Dead almost never lets me down.

I don't have the techie know-how to do a layout, but here are a banner and a couple of icons if you want to use them. :-)
