Tuesday Ten

1. The very best cure for a hangover is: One of the frat boys I knew used to say that vinegar was a surefire cure because if you managed to get it down, it stopped you from being sick, but mostly, it would just cause you to puke ahead of time. I personally preferred the idea of a hangover to drinking vinegar.

2: The very best cure for hayfever is: Drugs!

3: Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate

5: Lefty or Righty? I’m right-handed.

6: The First RL person you had a crush on was: my best friend’s older brother when I was I was three. It was a sordid affair. Joel had a crush on me and I had a crush on his older brother.

7: The First Celeb type person you had a crush on: Jack Wilde

8: Your peeviest pet peeve is: People who don’t put dvds/cds back in their cases.

9: You sleep in: (Clothing wise.) Yoga pants and a tank top

10: Your earliest memory is: I was two, I was on a hammock at my grandmother’s farm with my older brother and then he just left me there for a bit. All alone and I freaked out.

1. When did you start watching Buffy? From the very beginning. It took me awhile to get my sister to watch it with me though, like most of season one.

2. Why did you start watching Buffy? I loved the movie so I was curious...and I loved the pilot, especially Xander.

3. What was the first episode you ever saw? The Pilot

4. What was your initial reaction to the show? It was a wonderful surprise. I watched more out of curiousity, not expecting it to be very good, but I loved it a whole lot and it only got better.

5. Describe three ways your opinions/attitudes/ideas about the show have changed since you first started watching.
-I started off wanting Buffy/Xander, but I came to love them as the bffs that they were and that meant more to me.
-I really loved Willow in the beginning, but by season six she just annoyed me.
-I came to love Tara a whole lot, despite my dislike of Willow by the end.

6. What are your five favorite episodes? Can't I just claim almost all of season two. It was just so freaking brilliant.

7. What are your five favorite moments?
-When it looks like Angel is about to kill her and says, "What have you got?" and she grabs the sword and says, "me"
-Angel killing Ms. Calendar
-When Buffy finds her mother dead in the living room
-The Buffy/Faith showdown of season three.
-The last scene of season five with the whole "death is my gift"

8. Will you still be a fan in ten more years? Most definitely. Buffy was really the first show that I loved beyond all reason, no matter what happened.

9. A hundred years from now, when Buffy is taught in high schools across the land, which episodes will make it onto the syllabus? The entirity of season two should be included.

10. How has Buffy affected you? That I'm not sure about. I loved how Joss created these very strong female characters in various ways, the type of women who didn't need saving from anyone but themselves.
