It used to be that I was able to get caught up on livejournal, fic, and writing on the weekends, but lately my weekends are passing in a blur of craziness. I'm not sure what to make of that.

It started with going out drinking with some of my co-workers for our one friend's last day. And moved at lightening speed from there.

I took my little bit to see Meet the Robinsons in 3D. When I asked if she wanted the regular or 3D version, she rolled her eyes at me and said, "Tommy, 3D will be much more fun." How silly of me. Anyway, I loved it as much as she did. It's hysterical. And has a very nice message, especially about how the villain came to be a villain.

Then there was the boy and hanging with some friends and errands and watching the first three episodes of Robin Hood (finally!!!) and now it's Sunday night and my weekend is over. Bah. At least I have off for Good Friday this week and I'm tempted to put in for Easter Monday off as well. Hhhmmm...must decide on that one.

More interview questions, this time from [livejournal.com profile] pun because, as I said in her journal, I am an egomaniac.

1. If you were sentenced to death (which I certainly hope you never are!), what would be your last meal? Pizza from King of Pizza. It's my favorite thing of all time and I've been going to that place since I was a little kid. But I'm trying very hard not to get sentenced to death these days. It's a personal goal.

2. In a story what is more romantic: physical affection or emotional declarations, and why? I'm more of an action over words girl. Emotional declarations tend to make me uncomfortable as a girl who likes to repress her feelings and I'm also...I don't see a need for it. I feel like if you have to keep saying it all the time, maybe you're trying to convince yourself and not me.

3. Name a tourist attraction that you've visited that lives up to the hype. I love Disney World. I don't care that it's expensive and often crowded. I love that place. Oh, and I have to say, my best friend and I had so much fun at the London Dungeon.

4. Turn five of your favorite characters into another species (different species for each one) and explain why you picked those animals.

Buffy Summers = Lion...because they look cute and cuddly, but they can fuck you up.

Sam Winchester = Puppy Dog. Those freaking eyes and the pouts.

Sydney Bristow = cheetah...super fast, super strong

Hiro = kitten...because he's just so cute and I always want to scruff his face!

Jack Bristow = grizzly bear...don't mess with him or the things he cares about or "raaaar"

5. If you could go back in time to your childhood and take up either a sport or an instrument which sport or instrument would you choose?

I played tons of sports in my childhood, so I'd really like to pick an instrument like piano or flute. I played the trumbone for two years and I hated lugging that thing around and I sucked...so I would have picked something else!

Is Brothers & Sisters new this evening? I hope so. I miss new episodes of that show. Plus, it ended in a place where I want to see what happens next.

Still behind on 24 as I chose to start Robin Hood and got sucked in through the first three episodes. I knew this would happen. I have a love of the story of Robin Hood and I've always loved Marian because she was strong and opinionated and her whole life wasn't just about her love for Robin. And the show is just so entertaining and funny and Robin is HOT. And while I think my favorite Sheriff of Nottingham will always be Alan Rickman (Why a spoon, cousin?), I think the actor in the role on the show does a really good job of playing the character.

Also forced the boy to sit through the last few episodes of General Hospital, which was a mistake. He likes to point out how ridiculous the storylines are. Like I don't know that. I'm an addict. And there are cute boys! And it's just...I *know* how dumb some of the storylines are, but I still watch.

And honestly, he shouldn't be surprised. I loved Fastlane for god's sake.

Alrighty, I'm going to try to catch up on the friends list and catch up on comments. However, I think I'll probably end up watching some more episodes of Robin Hood.

Ciao.

I saw a couple of episodes of Robin Hood this weekend while staying with friends. They have BBCAmerica. I liked it, too (they and my hubby didn't), and yeah, Robin is kinda cute.:)

Oh, and Dragonhubby is as bad as your boy. He LOVES to make fun of Blood Ties and Heroes. It's his favorite past time. Of course, this comes from a guy who's favorite movie is Super Troopers.

my best friend and I had so much fun at the London Dungeon.

Do you mean the tower? I love the Tower of London. So much fun!

Pizza is a good last meal. I might go with my favorite pizza in the world for my last meal too. It's also a place I've been going for over twenty years now, since I was little. Mmmmm . . . food!
