I've said it before, and I will say it again. I'm extremely spoiled by the archive/tagging system that supernaturalfic utilizes. It makes thing so easy and cuts down on a lot of scrolling through fic that I'm not in the mood for.

And this led me to my recurring idea of creating an fandom organization community/team...where communities can have us come in and work with them to organize tags/memories/etc in the best way for that community. And all they do once it's done, along with keeping up the system, is put a little graphic on their user info saying "Organized courtesy of so & so." Because I'm anal and OCD and I enjoy making sure everything is tagged/organized. And I have friends that share this love. And I do think it would be a tool to fandom.

That said, oh the volunteers I would need because I'm busy as it is and would never get anything done.

I'm hoping to read some of the remixes and other fic today! That would be lovely. I miss reading fic. I miss reccing fic. Mostly, I miss writing fic. I'm working on that at the moment with this Chuck fic 'o doom.

So I had meant to start this on October 1st, but I've been a little crazed, so it's getting started a few days late.

Anyway, this year Target has this little thing called "The Boo Bag" where you buy the set up and the candy and then you just anonymously leave it for someone with a note that says "You've been boo'd, pass it on." It's sorta like Random Acts of Kindness but for Halloween!

Loving the holiday and doing things for people, I thought, "Self, this would be cool if done in a fandom way."

How to Boo:

-Pick something fannish to do for someone (or as many someones as you want) like an icon, a layout, a story, put together a bunch of story recs you know s/he will love...

-Leave the Fandom Boo Gift in your friends email box or livejournal anonymously with the following note and graphic:

"This "Boo!" is for you!
A Halloween treat
From someone you know
Who thinks you are sweet.
You can pass it along -
It's a treat-giving trend!
Or simply enjoy it.
Sincerely, Your Friend."

-Your friends will display the sign indicating that they've been booed and then it's their turn to pass the Boo along.

So let's have some fun with this guys! Let's BOO people and show our love for each other! We've got plenty of time to do something small for each other! Please pimp out and spread the Halloween love!
