Here I Am

Real post to come in the near future. I'm participating in Mini-Nanowrimo again this year, with a daily word count, in hopes to get myself back on track with my writing. Just writing something. I am working on two ongoing projects - a girl!Niko Veritas fic and a Supernatural/Warehouse-13 fic set after the end of last season's SPN and somewhere in the Warehouse-13 realm...but those are both longer projects and some days I don't feel like working on them.

So I turn to you guys.

Please feel free to provide me with some fandom/pairing/small prompt and I'll see what I can do. Give me as many as you want as I've decided to just go with whatever strikes my fancy at any given moment. I think that's part of the issues I've had with writing (it's a very long story that only my therapist really needs to hear)...I'm too worried about what I should write that I'm become paralyzed.

So again, please feel free to provide me with a fandom/pairing/prompt. For fandoms, good rule of thumb, is any fandom I've written before or those listed in my user info. And some of you know other stuff I love and am willing to try.

I'm currently rewatching Battlestar Galatica season two along with the first series of Torchwood. I'm madly in love with Captain Jack, but I knew that from Doctor Who...but Owen on TW, I love him. He can be such a jackass, but I love him so.

Mostly though, as I rewatch BSG, I am reminded of how much I love this show. I sometimes forget that because for me, BSG is a show that I don't miss so much if I'm not thinking about it/watching it actively...but once I get sucked back in, I just love and adore it and end up watching four episodes in a row.

Keep your fingers crossed that life doesn't interfere with my plans for this weekend, which are mostly made up of me getting writing done. I'm so far behind and there is so much to do. I think I need to just force myself to start writing, not worry so much about the what, but just the getting words out.

Also, I've been rewatching Wonderfalls on my lunch and I really want a Supernatural fic that starts pre-series while Sam is away at school where little inanimate objects with faces start talking to Dean and telling him to do things. And then when he's on the road with Sam, he tries to keep it a secret, but Sam is like, "Who the hell are you talking to?" and "Dean, why do you have a teddy bear?" C'mon guys...someone should write that.

Crap, I hate busy days. And I don't see it being an easier on the workfront for a while either as my co-worker is abandoning me to leave nonprofit world and join corporate America. Something about better pay. Whatever.

Then I want to get caught back up on drabble-a-day and then collapse.

Even when I'm sleeping, my brain is concocting bizarre crossover relationships of hotness. Last night I had a dream where Tony DiNozzo from NCIS was dating Aidan from All My Children. And they were on the run for some reason, but every night they would have hot sex and then CUDDLE. Good god. What's wrong with my brain? ANd sadder? I didn't want to wake up. I was so mad at my alarm clock for ruining happy dreams of hot boys cuddling and true love.

Okay story is back to me, must go edit!

1) Work was busy today. We're getting a new plotter for better mapping and stuff, but it became a big ordeal with the delivery and oh the fun.

2) Supernatural Crossover Challenge sign-ups are running until June 29th. Write a story, get a story! Fun times to be had! Lots of great crossover fic to be produced.

3) So over at insane journal, ladybug218 started a muse community and with her patience and Yoda-like explanations, I have undertaking writing for Dean Winchester. It's freaking *addictive*, my friends. And it might be Dean's goal to hook up with all the pretty ladies at some point.

4) Yeah, I know I didn't need to take that on what with the billion things to do. I came up with the title for my schmoopfest Sam/Dean story though, so that should let me off the hook. Now I just have to write it.

5) I just finished Secrets of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita and now I want the sequel, but my library doesn't have it. ::cries:: The first book was an enjoyable quick read. I've never outgrown my love of young adult books.

6) No, really, my friends, go sign up for the Supernatural Crossover Challenge. Or pimp it. Or if that's not your cup of tea, check out schmoopfest - there are still plenty of prompts available.

7) Does one know if there are Prince Harry and Prince William icons? And if so, where can they be found? I watched their Dateline interview and I may love them more than I used to. And I already loved them a great deal. According to larah33, I love lots of boys though, so this is nothing new.

8) I'm starting to get excited about winchestercon! This is totally my first con ever and I'm doing it with my other half, iamtheenemy. And I'm looking forward to getting to meet some of y'all a whole lot!

When I'm at the gym on the treadmill I usually watch MSNBC, but I'm starting to get annoyed with what they consider to be news. They spent the majority of 30 minutes talking about Britney Spears' shaved head, while the news scroller talked about more deaths in Iraq. Yeah, I think the news scroller information is more important, thanks.

Really, this is what is wrong with the news media.

I was fond of freaky-females-in-white-clothing.

2. Prank wars or towel scenes?

Why must a girl choose? The prank wars were hysterical, but really, I’m a shallow girl and Sam and Dean are HOT, therefore towel scene always wins.

3. latin-speaking!Dean or latin-speaking!Sam?

I’m a Dean girl, but Latin-speaking!Sam wins!

4. FBI uniforms or suits + tie?

Suits & ties…especially if it involves long overcoats…and…now I’m in a happy place.

5. Rock salt or holy water?

Rock salt. Except when Sammy is shooting Dean full of it.

So iamtheenemy was surprised by her b-day community and she loved the story I wrote her. Now we have decided to each continue the stories we wrote for each other as ongoing universes...though, we decide lots of things throughout the year and most of it doesn't ever come to fruition. But in theory, it would be great fun for there to be more.

I'm not sure if I should watch 24 or Heroes tonight. I'll have to figure it out later. And I'm saddened that there is no new SPN this week.
